Finesse vs power pass-rush moves
Speed rush vs bull rush
Finesse moves (swim, spin, speed rip) beat blockers with quickness; power moves (bull rush, club) run through them. Fast rushers win with finesse, strong rushers with power — match the move to the player.
When it applies
Finesse against slow-footed tackles; power against light tackles and tight ends.
+ StrengthsThe right move for the matchup generates quick pressure.
− Trade-offsFinesse rushers get washed by double teams; power rushers get sidestepped by athletic tackles.
